Dlux is much thicker than UK therefore much harder to apply to large surfaces.

For a bicycle you can get away with either one. Use what you have.

I have used DLux on wheels on rare occasion. It works but... I prefer to use a ceramic coating CQ UK or CQuartz SiC when I can.

Short Version: I personally use DLux for black trim/plastics on vehicles. For paint/clear coat I would recommend CQuartz UK.

I personally use Sonus Trim and Motor Kote for the engine bay. It does not have a high gloss just a nice satin/matte finish (like showroom new!)...
