JeepPro

Fixer, reflect(very hard to remove, I'm guessing it doesn't like heat), dlux on the trim, cquk on the paint

Awesome job! Looks amazing. Wow. What did you use on the tires?

Thank you much! The tires are wearing Tuf Shine clear coat

What are your thoughts on the Tuf Shine Clear Coat? I cleaned a few sets of tires until there was no more dirt with the Tuf Shine tire cleaner and IMO thought the clear coat didn't work any better than some of the better tire dressing out there.

No problem! Thanks for the info, I like the sheen. Fantastic job. Any issues on applying UK?

So far I've got no problems with it. It was a hassle to get it uniform but I remedied that by putting on 3 coats (let each dry before applying the next). Gotta be careful to wipe off any residue from the wheels as it won't come off easy if it dries

How was layering it? Easy?

I had a couple of high spots but I just polished by hand, used eraser and reapplied. No problems at all. It rained last night, came out this morning expecting to see water spots and I couldn't find one

How many layers did you do of UK?

I did 2 coats, 2nd coat was no problem aside from the massive heat I was working with. It's best to inspect the paint from several angles to make sure you've buffed it all off.

Gotcha. I tried 2 coats and noticed the second was significantly trickier. So I went ahead and went with 1 coat. That, and I ran out lol :D

Thanks James! And ^ lol, running out will certainly limit the options for a second coat

How are you using Reflect? Machine, pad, speed, etc. I'm asking because I'm wondering why it was so hard to wipe off for you.

Docpeanut

I used it by machine, I think honestly it was too hot that day

Great work! and great thread
Reflect should be SUPER easy to wipe off. Work it until it's literally gone. Then wipe off before moving to next section. No polish should wipe off easier then reflect if used like that.

Looks great bro!

Appreciate it Corey, I worked the hell out of it, still had to buff like a mad man to remove the residue. Maybe I got a bad bottle (bought it from Amazon, still within expiration period). Either way, I'm super pleased with all the other carpro products I've used

Don't you love being to accomplish that kind of result despite the elements!?! Living in Southern Louisiana I can relate..... and also know the pride of the accomplishments when it is all said and done (and that you CONQUERED the environmental challenges). Great job, and great results!
