One of our favorite plastic trim products has been improved. I have been testing it awhile now and the new Ultima Trim & Tire Guard (http://www.carpro-us.com/exterior-surface-protection/ultima-tire-trim-guard-plus-12-oz/) is definitely a great product. It was already amazing as many of you know. The new product looks, smells, and feels different and also leaves a bit darker of a look but I have found every other attribute seems to be very much in keeping with the version we have all grown to love.

Hard to believe they upped the durability. Didn't think that possible. I am glad to hear it darkens more. That was/is one thing I always wished the older version did better.

Awesome. I have been needing to really address interior products. I have so much invested in exterior, I haven't gotten a chance to focus hard core on interior. This product seems like a great option. Does this product have a gloss/sheen to it, or only a darkening effect?

This is more designed for exteriors.

Ultima makes an interior product Called interior guard plus. It doesn't leave a ghetto gloss, protects very well and has a very sophisticated satiny feel on leather. It also will protect fabrics amazingly well.

Ahh, thank you for the clarification. I didn't read it close enough, I thought I was reading about UIGP. Lmao, I need to read more carefully. Dr Oldz, thanks for the info on UIGP even though this thread is UTTG! A buddy sent me a sample of UIGP that I need to try out!

I've always used it on new exterior trim, so the darkening effect didn't really relate to me. Put UTTG on my trim from day one of owning my vehicles. Proof of the true awesomeness of UTTG.
