I see there is only 3.5" and 6.25" version right now. Is there going to be a 5.5" pad or is the 6.25" safe to use on a 5" backing plate?

Seems interesting when I open my shop lord knows when that will be but when I do I think I'll be grabbing a couple of these just to hold off on the rotary need.

Yes, the pad is quite stiff so should be fine on a 5" bp. Just take care in centering it

Corey where would these fall as compared to say a yellow B&S pad and a microfiber cutting pad?

Kevin, it definitely wouldn't fall between them. I don't believe you have ever cut with a DA as fast as you do with this pad.... And it's not close imo

CarPro has done more than any other to obviate the NEED for a rotary with new tech pads.

CarPro has introduced more high tech pads than any other provider. No one NEEDS a rotary anymore! I still like to jewel with a rotary! The Scholl Concepts S0 ensures correction with any pro-grade DA, e.g. FLEX, RUPES,etc.
