I am going to be trying to apply CQUK this weekend. I see that I am supposed to use reload about an hour after install. Is this a must do? I didn't see that part when I bought it, so I don't have it.

Is your vehicle going to be exposed to water 24 hours after CQUK application?

no, it will not. It will be in the garage for 24 hours. plus we are not supposed to have rain for at least 8 days

Reload is really used to protect CQUK if the car isn't going to be kept dry for 24hrs. If you are going to keep the car inside for a day then Reload is not a nessisity.

You will be fine w/o the Reload then. Good move keeping it in the garage for 24 hours.

Also, do not use soap on it for the first 7 days.

NP X. Post some pics when you're done. Also, do you have your plan of attack set or any questions?

A nice polish (Reflect) makes the shine look so awesome.
Did you consider Eraser instead of plain IPA?

I will be Adams Polish since I have that already and really like it.
I thought about Eraser, but I have a lot of IPA so I figured I would use it.

If it's not going to rain let it sit in the sun when done it will cure faster.

I would use Reflect (no fillers to affect bond) and Eraser (not worth risking a wasted effort) if all oils aren't removed the coating won't bond.
----
Go easy at first… Check one panel after your done and take some time to check it in other lighting (great daylight type lighting) before completing the vehicle.
#1.- Apply to the surface one section and then wipe it off before it becomes sticky.
#2 - Wiping with only the Suede towels can leave high spots. Be sure to completely wipe off the residue. It should NOT be difficult to wipe BUT you do want to go over it enough to remove residue. This requires going over it a couple times before moving to the next section or panel. Use the CarPro Boa towel as your follow towel behind suede.
#3 - High spots reveal themselves best in great ambient lighting (daylight but not direct sun)
#4. - Be sure to switch out the 4” Suedes after every other panel - 10-15 minutes of using the same suede is ok but no longer.

Thanks for the tips.

I would do Iron X first, then clay.
You will be amazed how many contaminants Iron X will remove by itself, and how easier is to clay afterwards :)

Indeed, IronX before Clay. The other way around will work too, but your clay will definatly be soiled out much quickly if done first!

I've been doing the Iron-X and then using nano skin. Works quick and great results.

That worked great, it was amazing how clean the clay was.
