I started a post the other day about reload cure time. It was supposed to rain all day and lucky for me it did not. The car got a good six hours to stay dry. It probably doesn't need it but it makes me feel better.

A little background on the car. My wife purchased it brand new back in January. Overall the paint is in pretty good condition. It's got a few swirls from the dealerships detail before delivery and probably a few from me too.[emoji30] They only show up in the right light though so I'm controlling my ocd until I coat it with uk. Then it will get a full correction.

I have fixed a door ding and a couple scratches in the driver side rear door. I'm pretty new to machine polishing and this is the first time I have worked on Subaru paint. Wow it's soft!! I took out the scratches with WG Finish glaze and a tangerine HT pad. I don't think they would have even showed improvement with that combo on harder paint.

I don't have any before pics as there was no correction work. Only a weeks worth of dirt.

Let's get started with the process.

Car:
Wiper arms and license plates removed
Citrus wash
Iron x (I wanted to clay but not without polishing because the paint is so soft. That will have to wait for now.)
Dried with DP turbo dryer
Door jambs cleaned with Megs D114
Eraser
Reload (paint, glass, plastic, wipers, and everything.)[emoji16]

Wheels & tires:
Just a Megs D114 rinseless wipe down
A couple weeks ago I did a full clean and protection on them. Megs non acidic wheel cleaner, iron x, and reload for the wheels. The tires received 3 aplications of DP tire cleaner and 2 application of DP tire coating.

I absolutely love reload and I'm very happy with the way it came out. Here's a few pics!!

Thanks for all the help! None of this would be possible if not for this forum.
