Hey guys! this weekend I coated my winter car with cquartz UK (first experience). The car had been compounded and polished a few months ago so no correction work needed. I did wash, ironx, clay, wash, essence (amazing) on lake country tangerine hydrotech pad, waited an hour, cquartz, waited another hour then applied reload. Let me tell you the car look amazing! I've let the car sit for a full 24 hours in the garage @ 70F to let it cure then took it out (Sunday). Since then, it's been constantly snowing. so snow and road salt touched the car let's say 30 hours after application. Knowing I can't wash the car with soap for the next 7 days I decided to take the pressure washer and just wash off a bit of that road salt a dirt off. The whole car beads water perfectly except for the spot where the road dirt touched the paint, https://www.dropbox.com/s/qpkvb3ptwbbjvix/Photo%202015-12-21%2C%208%2018%2024%20PM.tiff?dl=0 is there a chance the coating did not cure enough and it's gone or as usual, I'm asking way too many questions, when I wash the car after the 7 days everything will be fine? worst case I'll just redo the coating that is really not a problem, it's just driving me crazy not to know what is causing it

Since you allowed it to cure for 24 hours, as long as that section was coated like the other parts of the car, it should be just fine. I would wait at least 7 days then see how it reacts after the first wash. I typically try avoiding getting a vehicle wet for as long as I can after installing a coating. I like to let it cure for as long as possible.

I'll give it a wash tomorrow and see what it looks like, it's still the cleanest car on the street so dirt repellency is good! thank you!

Now i wonder, since i work and live in NYC amd snow etc is an issue. If no inside garage is available would covering thebcar with a car cover for 24hrs be a solution to not getting it wet and allowing it to cure for the first 24hrs?
