I am sooo confused about what product to use to coat my hlights. Some say dlux some cquk some say optilens. I need input please I'm confused. I'm not worried about pricing bc I know you get what you pay for. Mainly I'm concerned with durability, I know I know duh right.

Hi Steve, Dlux is what I use. The durability cannot be beat.

New or restored, doesn't matter, I use Dlux for both.

I had an open bottle of Cquartz and I applied it to my headlights today after polishing. Not sure if it will last but it looks good to me.

I had difficulty when I first used it because I let it sit to long before I buffed off any excess product. This was on a set of wheels. The second time I used it, I did not let it sit that long. Pretty much wipe on wipe off. Another key thing is applying it thin. A little goes a long way.

Not at all. I even used a small air brush one time on my Tundra Pro grill. It worked like a charm. Like the Guz said, apply thin and watch your removal times. In the process of deconning and will two coats on my wife's Subie Summer wheels. The winter ones just went on with two coats.
