Well this is just an initial test and review. I decided first I would try it a little on my wife's Subaru Forester. The Subaru was due for some type of protection as the Hydro2 was gaining on 6 months and just about gone.

First are some initial pictures of water on the surface after being cleaned with reset on the hood. The rest of the vehicle was mostly waterspots from rain so I just cleaned those with the acrylic waterless wash

Regular run of the mill water flat on the surface with not much beading left.

Masked down the middle and used regular ultima waterless wash concentrateon the left mixed up 1/2 oz for 22oz of water in the bottle as directed. On the right is acrylic waterless wash mixed up as directed 1 oz for 22oz or filling an ultima bottle.

Both sides show an improvement in the slickness as I used the products. The left side showed improved beading and appeared glossy as though it was clean and waxed, but the right side with the acrylic showed tighter beads and a little better reaction to water.

Standard waterless wash side:

I then did the painted and plastic surfaces of the car. Ignore that I didn't do the wheels yet strictly was testing this on paint.

There was a significant amount of gloss added and the surface was very slick.

Overall it seems like a great product and I will like to use it more in the future. Ill be looking forward to seeing how long it lasts on the surface and what its cost will be as compared to something super easy to use like HydrO2 since thats my go to easy protection product at the moment.

Nice review! Thanks for your thoughts!

Looks like the Acrylic wash added some significant protection!

Did you note any difference in the overall cleaning ability of each product?

Acrylic seemed to be similar to the standard uww. I've only been using the original one for a couple weeks. As compared to other products I've used like optima no rinse wash and wax and then the palm beach motoring house brand detailers pro, this is a world of difference. Some of those other products just smear around on the surface moving a dirty liquid around. Acrylic seems to just lift the dirt and grime and absorb right into the towel. Minimal passed required to buff off excess product and get a flawless shine.

I used it on a vehicle that sits outside all the time under the trees. It was able to remove light sap, keeping in mind I keep up on the sap so it's not dried on for months or anything. Most larger dirt was removed in a wicked rainstorm the other day so the vehicle was mostly a layer of grime and some light sap and water spots to begin with. The sap wiped right off with the waterless wash. I sprayed it a little heavier in those areas also to ensure it was lubricated enough.

Thanks for the review! How do the 2 compare for surface slickness?

The actual feel with a microfiber towel on the surface was similar. The main difference I saw was the water reaction and the way it beads. And pending how long that lasts which i plan to do an update on that as time goes on. And then compared to the detailers pro and optimum rinse less wash and wax the slickness was off the charts better with ultima products.

Looks good. Wonder how this would be on coated cars?
