My Boa towels have gotten sorta stiffer over the course...and these towels only really see very very mild products. Either Cockpit Premium or just plain water.

Have tried cleaning it to no avail....on resuscitating them.
Is it just me.

Every other MF in my stash cleans well with no ill behaviour.

Try washing with Persil laundry detergent and put a couple of ounces of APC in the wash with them.

I have done squirted APC in it.

Have done a Oxyclean soak.
Have done the vinegar rinse.

I suppose something stronger might bring the "pluff" back.

Only reason I have not tried anything as strong as APC, is because of the products I know I've used with them, which theoretically is not leaving a residue behind like polish, or even LSP sealant that may linger

Are you air drying them? I had the same problem and it was because I was air drying them... Switched over to tumble drying them and it restored in there softness like the day I bought them. And defo keep using the vinegar in the wash, it's great stuff.
