I've just got my finest coating done on my car

no water contact for 48hours, and I understand no soap for the first 7 days.

But is it alright to water down without any soap and dry the car immediately to remove any road dirt or dust after the 2nd day?

Or is it best to just leave it as it is and properly wash it after the first 7 days

It is definitively best to leave it as it is, and properly wash it after 7 days!

Would ech2o have any adverse affects during the 7 day curing time?

I personally perfer doing a traditional 2 bucket wash after the 7 day cure. However, if you really want to use Ech2o prior to the seven day cure time; we advise that you wait at least 5 days unless there is something harmful on the paint like hard water spots, bird bombs, or bugs.

Great! Thanks for the info Dark! Guess I will just have to ignore my OCD symptoms and deal with a "dirty" car for a week.

Was tempted to apply a layer of reload but decided to leave CQF to cure properly without adding anything on top of the coat. Will just have to do that after washing next week

IMO this is best, unless you need to remove something harmful from the paint (as mentioned above). In this case I would advise to use on the affected areas and blot/wipe gently so as not to mar the paint.
