I have had CQuartz applied but have unfortunately now discovered that there are a few marks under the coating around the washer jets, what i'd like to do is remove the washer jets and correct the marks which have been missed before.
How am I best to complete this ?
Whats the best way to get down to the paint to correct ?
Would I get away with doing the small area around them say 6"x6" and then re-coat that area or will the whole panel require doing ?
Any help or advice will be greatly received !

A polish will remove the coating in those areas. You could do a touch up with the coating in that area.

I repaired a spot last year. I taped off a square around where I needed fixed. Polished (reflect) and then used eraser to prep the area. I pulled the tape off and cleaned/prepped with eraser a larger area. I reapplied CQUK (overlapped with old layer) to the area then reloaded it. After we couldn’t tell where the old & new coating was. Still looks great.
