When dealing with refinished panels I tend to either follow the suggestion of the painter, and/or consult the P-sheet supplied by the paint manufacturer (if the specific paint system used is known)....
All you should really need is some waterless/rinseless wash and some microfiber towels... *maybe* add some dedicated glass cleaner. Anything those can't tackle I figure can usually wait.
Looking amazing Merlin... excellent work!
Thanks Claude! Yes, it was a lot of fun getting him involved; as well as having both he and his wife work on washing their other two cars that day. Nothing beats some hands-on experience to get folks...
Thanks for the comments, guys!
After many hours of work, it's finally time for the payoff. This distinguished collection represents two radical and iconic body styles; two current classics and a future classic. It was an honor and...

SURPRISE!! Just when you thought 50 years of performance and refinement was the end of the story, there's a third Sting Ray in the mix... but they say three's...
Before we get into the paint correction work, let's take a moment to talk about supplies. Since the paint shrinkage and other textural issues with the finish would require wet sanding to complete, a...

Finally, with all of the intricate cleaning tasks out of the way, it was time to start correcting the paint. Up first, the pillar on the roof panel:

The introduction of Chevrolet's seventh generation Corvette marked the return of the legendary "Stingray" moniker; something that caused significant buzz among enthusiasts and collectors eager to see...
If I'm doing a Reset wash, I either don't do a post-wash wipe down at all, or I add Reload if needed.
Much the same when doing waterless/rinseless... either the wash itself will be sufficient...
I use IUDJ exclusively as my rinseless/waterless wash, never had a single problem on top of UK or Finest.
I did apply Finest on the matte spoiler; the plastic diffusers/splitters got DLUX. There were no issues at all with Finest on the matte paint of the spoiler/wheels, it flashed off and wiped away...
Thanks! The tires were dressed with Garry Dean's "Tuned Performance Tire & Trim Gel," which it appears he's since replaced with a product called "Transform Dressing." Don't know if the formula has...
A member of the Hellcat.org forum who is also very active in the Michigan Mopar Muscle Club contacted me a month or so ago regarding CQuartz Finest for his new Challenger; after some weather delays...
Have you followed up with the detailer who installed Finest for you? I would definitely recommend that as a first course of action before even attempting anything further yourself, as I'm certain he...
I'm sure it's probably difficult to reach if you're not blessed with height/long arms; personally I'm able to reach the center of most roofs while standing on a Werner aluminum painter's platform......
Certain types of contaminants can still bond to the coating, but I wouldn't advise using clay if you can avoid it (you could mar the coating). Your first best bet would be to soak the car in...
Those brochures look absolutely killer! As for the T-Shirt... looks a bit on the "plain" side; at the very least it needs your URL added ;)
If I may say so, that Hellcat looks "purrrrfect!"
Hmm... ok?
Whoa... what?! More info definitely needed!
So is that MFM Brush what was "under the sheet," or is there something else?
