I do not suggest using "clay" or a clay alternative (mitt) on a coated car.
IIRC - It can damage the coating.

Also, I'm not a big fan of putting wax on top of a coating.
Reload or Elixir works...

Ech2o IMHO is a waterless wash. I might suggest using CARPRO 2 Face (No Lint) towels.

I usually use 1-3 per vehicle. IMHO If they are clean and primed they are good to go.



That question is a bit different. I use two for coating removal. That's why I get the orange and the blue....

It looked like it had been washed 100 time with a Brillo pad.
On the sides the paint was very thin. A PTG is...

The Rupes 21 comes with a 6? backing plate. It has a 21mm throw.
I swapped the 6? BP for a 5? BP.
I like the feel of a 5? plus it works better for curved areas.

IMHO it is better to polish the paint and thoroughly clean the paint before PPF applcation.

Proper maintenance is better the restoration.
Soft wash mitts. pH-neutral soaps and love.
