Carpro Orange Peel Removal Pads How To?

I just ordered some Denim pads in hopes of reducing some orange peel. I was wondering if anyone had experience using these with a DA instead of a rotary.
I watched the video and read the review from Todd Helme, which made me want to try this product, but as for polishes, I have a Rupes 15, Griots 6, PC 7424XP, and a Griots 3 available.

I have one car which has been repainted, so it should have thicker clear, and one that has factory clear still, which, from what I have read, I should use velvet pads for instead of denim.

Can anyone share any experiences and tips on using these pads with a DA? Polish wise I have FG400, M101, M105, Sonax 4/6.

Out of those polishes FG 400 is the way to go. I'll let others tell you their method with rupes - I haven't used on rupes yet.

This is what I did with the Denim pads on my Rupes 21 and FG 400 Polish



Tip #1 They heat and gum up VERY quickly, so don't work them for very long. Tip #2 Have at least 6-8 for a full car and expect to wash/clean them all at least twice.

Around speed 4 I think

Do you mind me asking how many passes and what sort of downward pressure you used to achieve the above pic?

I don't remember to be honest buddy, however it all depends on the paint of course so my number wouldn't match your's anyway. It was on a Jeep that had a bad repaint job.

Just go at it and remember to check often, as this pad on the Rupes heats up A LOT.
