Yes Shoes, bathing suit trunks, I've heard a few guys that did shoes actually.

I'd estimate I used about 75 ml to do two thin coats, "massaged" in the exact same ways you suggest. Is it wrong that I felt it necessary to add a third coat? I've now used perhaps just less than 1/4 of the 500 ml bottle.

You're right, too: it's strong! My garage door is wide open and there's a breeze (thank FSM for Scotch lint rollers!) and... and... I LOVE YOU MAAAAAN!!! Hehehehehehe

In retrospect -- even though the amount in the bottle would suggest otherwise -- three coats is perhaps overdoing it. Just more than six hours on (including a couple in the waning late afternoon sun), and while it doesn't feel "sticky" it does feel "there".

I think 3 coats may be a little much but that depends on how thick or thin you applied. Did you by any change look and video the hydrophobic characteristics.... simply amazing!

Just received my bottle of CarPro Fabric. I used 303 Fabric in the past and laid it on heavy. How can I be sure I have removed the 303 before I apply the CarPro Fabric?

Thoroughly clean the surface before applying. I would steam clean and wipe with a towel if possible to remove all residue before allowing to dry completely.
Apply only to 100% clean and dry surface.

Thanks Dark Horse. I do not have access to a steamer so I'm just going to try 303 Fabric cleaner and go over it until I can no longer see any beading. I do agree a steamer would be the prudent measure.
