Toyota 4-Runner Paint Correction + Water Spot Removal

No coating this time sadly! This customer contacted me originally to fix some scratches in his paint, which sadly I don't do - but after consulting with him we wanted to tackle the slightly-faded paint and all the swirls/light scratches. The windows of the vehicle was also super plagued by water spots from improper washing/sprinklers.

Car was washed with Meg's Hyper-Wash, Incredimitt, telescoping Microfiber tool, boars hair brush, etc. Decon was done with D155 and a clay mitt. Paint was corrected with a Griot's Garage Boss G21, 5 inch Yellow polishing pad, 3D HDSpeed (one of my favorite products). Water spot removal was done with a rotary using a 3-inch orange pad and M105.

    Now for the pictures:

Swirl city! The whole truck was like this.

This client does dipping tobacco and made quite a mess

    More mess

    Vacuum + Boar's hair brush and D101

    More tobacco

    All clean

Now for the interesting stuff! Paint work!

    50/50 shot

Diagonal 50/50, thought it was cool (orange peel, eek)

Water spot removal 50/50, came out pretty good

    After wax and final wipe-down

Any feedback is welcome! Thanks CPF!!

Looks great!! I always enjoy looking at the final product..taking something neglected and turning it to practically brand new again.
What are the tires dressed with?

Man that interior was gross! I would have charged an extra $50 to clean that up.

    Chemical Guys VRP. It's a water-based gel.

Haha, for sure! Luckily it was only that center console area. I'm just glad it wasn't "used" tobacco

Amazing Job man, Planning to get swirls near the front door panels of my 4Runner removed. Toyota has recently launched a 40th Anniversary edition of the 4Runner in three paint schemes. This special edition variant sits below the top-end TRD Pro & Limited trims in the lineup. The Toyota 4Runner gets a 4.0L V6 engine that is good for 270 horsepower. It comes with a 5-speed automatic transmission and a part-time 4-wheel drive system. The 40th Anniversary edition of the Toyota 4Runner is available in three colours, Ice Cap, Midnight Black Metallic, and Barcelona Red Metallic. Out of the three paint schemes, my personal favourite is the Midnight Black Metallic edition, as this SUV looks very imposing in this paint scheme (Image Source).
