At any rate, I must say that CarPro has really let loose with game changing products this year. Immortal, HydroFoam, and Essence. Well done gentleman! But even more important than the products is the continued kindness, generosity and humility that both Corey and Avi still show us. That's what makes a great team.
Yes, I think by hand you will be happy, Reload over the Essence afterwards or start maintaining with Hydrofoam with next washes to maintain hydrophobics if you don't add Reload or CQuartz over Essence.

Thank you so much! That means the world to us Truly appreciated!

What color foam pad is recommended for this? I despise MF Pads.
We believe you can use a lot of different lsp that work well with this. We haven't tested so not positive the results but that is our estimate. I would wait a bare minimum of an hour if applying a sealant or wax with high solvent content in it. You might test that further before doing an entire car to see if an hour is enough. I know one of our friends is planning on moving to Essence as their prep for their high grade Carnauba Wax service. After they have tested thoroughly i will try to remember to update here

This is a tough one to answer (so many variables again)... It will work with any foam pad really BUT depending on the paint you may have more or less luck with different pads. The issue is this "sticking" the product seems to do on some paints (more in certain environments) On a microfiber pad that seems to be a much shorter learning curve to avoid. I personally tested on Meguiars Microfiber pad (both cutting and finishing, CarPro Gloss pads, Orange Buff & Shine, and Scholl Concepts Spider pads (worked well)and a yet to be mentioned pad...

    Thank you!
This is the part that I want to know. If you had a car that you coated and it needed some polishing love, could you use this to fix the slight scratching and marring and then re-coat without having to fully try to polish off the old coating? That would be superb, in theory, this means that you are always fixing the coating and not the paint itself, which leaves more paint over time.

With foam pads did you only use one for a car since only doing a single pass?

Have you used a finishing pad with this or do you need a firmer cutting foam?

Thank you for all the information!

    Excited for this

Yep Hump, this was my thinking and hopes as well, the proper and correct product that one could use to replenish a CQuartz Coating when it is then needed.

It sounds then like a product that could be used a number of ways, in a gentle manner (by hand) or in a more aggressive corrective manner (by machine) if desired.

Besides use as a sole one-step product, or perhaps complimented with other protectants like Reload, etc, it sounds like "the" product that all CQuartz users will want having in thier arsenal.

Thanks Corey, look forward to getting this product.

Do you need a one hour wait time if you are coating with CQuartz, CQuartz UK or CQuartz FINEST?

Yes, I have used the CarPro gloss pad and others. If it has been compounded then a gloss pad is fine for finishing with Essence. It really works a treat on Microfiber though...

    Thank you!

No, but by the time you finish the car it will be more than one hour so you will have that anyway.
