    UK over Reload

Hello all, my first post and developing super fan of Carpro!

So today I use Essence on my truck, which is flat out amazing I must say. Anyways, I cleaned it up and applied CQUK and about an hour later hit it with reload.

So now Im thinking, I got plenty of stuff left, I want to do another coat, right!<

Can I go over the reload or does it have to be worked off?

I would not put a 2nd coat of UK over Reload! If you wanted to do a 2nd coat, you should have applied it prior to Reload. As long as you didn't miss any ares when applying the UK you will be fine with 1 coat. I've done one coat only on my personal and family member vehicles several times and have always achieved 2+ years durability. Be sure to wait at least a week, then wash your vehicle. I'd be willing to bet you'll be grinning from ear to ear...

BTW Welcome to the forum, were glad you found us!

    Thanks!

I would like to mention that, im in mass, the temps were 48 and essence as well as the coating applied and removed effortlessly. Slightly more difficult on my chrome bumper but it was a very good experience!

The truck is new, so I coated the door jams and rocker panels. Was good to get at it from the beginning.

I might as well ask here, the truck is a heavy GVW 14,000 dump and these heavy trucks are notorious for leaving rust blooms behind the front wheels on the doors and fenders. Does a coating protect from this and is there anything else I should do aside from using the iron x car soap?

Hi Jeff and Welcome aboard! Great move...coat it all! Now, you can invest in Hydrofoam or Hydro 2 products to maintain. Reset is another great soap to use, one of my favorites.
For me, I use Iron X and Iron X soap every few months as maintenance/coating enhancer wash. RESET all other times.

Steve has given you some great advice! I would like to reinforce the recommendation to use Iron X every few months. This is especially important in your case ("notorious for leaving rust blooms").
