my dogs
So I took my dogs down to my pond this afternoon. My dog Charlie's one goal in life is to play fetch. I mean thats all that dog studies. Loves raquette balls. He fetches them out of the pond a few times and then we proceed to head back home. My other dog Ryder, well, he's not like Charlie. Ryder's goals in life are to eat, pooh, and bark. Barks at everything. He also tries to hump ole Charlie Murphy all the time.
Well, i'm throwing the ball for Charlie. He brings it back and he watches the ball like a hawk. Wont take his eyes off of it. Even while Ryder jumps on his back and goes to town. Charlie is oblivious to anything around him other than that poor ball.
What Ryder doesn't know is the neighbors dog (who I call Squirt)comes up behind Ryder while he's humping away at Charlie. So, Squirt being a dog does what all dogs do when greeting another canine and plants his nose right on Ryders rectal area.
It was if Ryder had got hit with a cattle prod. It was quite the scene. Charlie Murphy never takes his eyes off the ball.
Sorry guys. I had to tell someone that story!!
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays guys!!!!

Poor ole Ryder sorta got a taste of his own medicine...LOL!
I'm guessing Squirt is a State fan?
My one dog, Lizzy the corgi mix to the right front in my sig pic, now opens the fridge and cabinets. Last week, she got a mouth full of pulled pork. Normally she likes to steal sandwiches.
Abby, the corgi in the back, is our bear chaser...from the safety of being inside the house but does a great job.
Jack, the sheltie, well he just barks and barks....and barks! All adopted.
Hope that Charlie, Ryder, and even Squirt have a Great Christmas!

Steve, you would thought Ryder got shot. It was so funny.
Ryder backs at everything. Sometimes I think he hears crickets farting.
Ryder came from a local humane society. Charlie Murphy came from the hospital. Found him up there on the grounds one night. Decided to take him home. Took him to my truck, opened the back door. He jumped in and sat down on the bench seat and rode home just laying there. I put him on facebook but didnt locate the owner. So I put him on the local animal rescue's page. Then found him on the same rescue page. He had escaped from the humane society lol. Damn Houdini.
Good luck with the fridge thing lol!!
Happy Holidays Steve!!!! Hotty Toddy!!!!!

Shared your story with my wife. She asked Jack, the sheltie, "do you hear crickets?"
Thanks for sharing. I have never know a time in my life without a dog(s). A friend of mine just ADOPTED a mutt mix from the south. She was at the Monmouth County Rescue and he loves that sweet dog.
BTW, our pups had a surprise from Santa in their stockings...Apple/Bacon, Peanut Butter, and Blueberry biscuits. They were sniffing those hanging stockings big time!
Merry Christmas Heath!
WAR EAGLE! All I want for Christmas is a Defensive Coordinator!

LOL Steve!!! Awesome breakfast!!!! Charlie Murphy and Ryder each got 2 cans of Alpo ChopHouse each. It was gone in about 4 seconds.
