Easiest way is to lightly polish the area. Or just let nature and time take its course.
As Steve has already mentioned, the only way to be sure to remove all of it, is to lightly polish it off.

"May the shine be with you" Uncle Stu
5 weeks passed since i've applied Hydr02.
First 3 weeks i've washed the car every weekend: pre-wash with avalanche snow foam and then regular wash with sonax car wash shampoo.
Everything went well with good results and great beading.
This last two weeks i didn't washed the car due to lack of time and some construction works in my every day road to my job that left my car with a good layer of dust.
Today after a good wash with same products i was very surprised because i got ZERO beading after washing the car.
Can someone advise why this appened? Is the Hydr02 protection gone?
This two weeks were hot sunny days...
ps: Re-applied the Hydr02 with no problems
It could be a couple things. I am not sure if the surface was previously prepped and thus didn't bond peoperly. Meaning claying and/or polishing. The other thing that it could be is built up road grime that is masking the properties of it. A wash with Reset does a good job of restoring the behavior of a coating.
I should mention that a shampoo can play a part in masking the properties of a coating. Something that contains gloss enhancers or wax could do it.
