I've slowly been switching my personal detailing product line to CarPro in the past year. I've loved all of the products so far -- IronX, Hydro2, PERL, Reset, etc. In the past, I've used Blackfire's SRC compound (which I use with Lake Country orange CCS pads) & their All Paint sealant (green LC CCS pads) with great results, but I've found this two-step process very time consuming for my daily driver (Audi SQ5...Audi typicall has very hard paint). I plan on trying CarPro's Essence this spring in hopes of getting the great results everyone raves about, while hopefully saving a step. My car is typically in very good shape & only has very minor marring or swirls. My question for the group is...could I simply continue using the Lake Country CCS foam pads I've used in the past with the Blackfire line? I currently have a large amount of the orange (light cutting) & green (finishing) pads in various sizes & they've worked very well. I'm hoping to avoid having to purchase a new set of pads for my orbital polisher (Porter Cable). I was thinking I'd do one pass with the orange pads to get rid of the minor marring, & then another pass with the green for finer polishing. Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Al
