New to me car, C.Quartz history?

    Hello All,

Just joined. Looks like a lot of good info here and I'm looking forward to learning more.

So I just purchased a 2017 Corvette, in the glove box were the warning tags and warranty card from C.Quartz. Is there any way to find out what was previously installed or details using the Professional Serial number on the card?

    Thanks, Greg

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully Corey or an authorized installer can help you out to find out what is on the car.

Not sure if you were contacted privately with any information? I hope so.

If not, I'll take a stab at this, and due to the Warrantee Card, which I've never seen accompanying any of the products sold on the open market to the general public, I'll assume this was CQuartz Pro that was applied on your vehicle.

The Pro version is only sold and applied by the professional network, and due to its particular inherit qualities is further cured with IR Lamps to aid drying and curing before return to a customer.

As for anything else, I would probably be 100% correct that after that there are no differences on how CQuartz Pro should be maintained. Or probably its life either basically.

Maintain with Carpro Reload after washes, and that's about it.

If this car is a daily driver, expect probably 2-3 years of longevity. But, if it's a garage queen, only driven occasionally in dry weather, I think one can expect a much longer life.

As for re-application, same procedures apply like any of the other Carpro Paint Coatings.

Hope this helps. (BTW, killer ride! Nice!)
