    Gliss V2

Looks like CarPro announced an updated formula for Gliss.

Introducing the improved GLISS Coating with brand new synthesized silica!

The improved GLISS comes packed with new properties including:
    1. Solvents Resistance
    2. Resistant to Acid & Alkyl Chemicals
    3. Increased Thickness with Ability to Fill Swirls
    4. Improved Smoothness
    5. Developed with Inorganic Oils
    6. Water Spot Resistance

The new formula can last up to 1 year and can be used as a stand-alone coating for DIY or as a top coat to your base coating.

With our commitment to quality, we decided to launch the newly improved coating with the same price. Application remains the same, see video below for how-to-instructions.

Note: The new versions will be marked with V2 stickers on bottles and packaging.

Good question. I haven’t heard anything on the Detailers forums even talking about Gliss V2 since it came out. I’m waiting to try it after I read a few reviews. I always try to give manufacturers a few months to work out the bugs. Just like cars, never buy the first model year. They use us a guinea pigs to work out the problems. CarPro could send me a sample and I will write reviews for the big detailing forums.

Hey guys so we have been fortunate enough to try some of the gliss 2 formula. We can safely say that the application of it is almost the exact same as the 1st version. It hazes when it cures and its ready to wipe. as per corey, it should be extremely easy to use and is almost identical in application as the first version. We cant say anything other than that though. We haven't had it long enough to make any claims about the strength or the duration of it. we will let everyone know when we do an in depth review of it though!

That is good that the application is the same.

One question based on this statement.

Introducing the improved GLISS Coating with brand new synthesized silica!
Is this now SiO2 based instead of Fluorine based?

Gloss is meant to be wiped off after 30-60 seconds. If you leave it on longer than that it will not be able to be wiped off cleanly.
