    windshield chip repair

    My windhsield has the flyby forte coating, and i just got a chip from a rock on the freeway. Can an auto glass shop repair the chip even if there is coating on the windshield? Will the epoxy chip repair have any negative effects on the coating?

    Smaller cracks & chips are usually fine to repair. Although it's not really a good idea to do coating on it.

    If the crack is small, then its fine, otherwise I agree with @raymondgomez, coating is not a good option.
