    Ironx did not turn red or purple

    Used Ironx on the new Mustang after washing with Reset and claying with NANOSKIN AUTOSCRUB sponge using Glide as lubricant and the Ironx never changed color as instructions said it would.
    I’m generally familiar with that process as my wheel cleaner does the same color change.
    I wonder if the lack of color change indicated the surface was already pretty free of contamination.
    Car was delivered new last August and has been only lightly used since.

    The color change indicates iron deposits. The more puirple the more iron.
    Less (or no) color change indicates little to no iron contamination.
