Detailing a CQuarz Pro ceramic coating

A member of the Mustang Club I am in asked me to detail his truck, which was coated with CQuartz Pro. He said it doesn't feel as smooth as it used to.

I have CarPro Essence polish, and he provided me with the bottle of Reload.

My "plan of attack" was to wash the truck, do an iron decon, polish with Essence and then do Reoad.

Am I correct in my process?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ron

A good chemical decon may be needed.

Maybe Ron was meaning Essence Plus?

    Correct.
Essence is a fine abrasive and can/will remove the coating.
Essence PLUS is a non abrasive and should only be used with a VERY soft pad.

Agreed. If it needs decon I'd try some IronX Snow soap

A good Reset wash and spray with Reload (I use it every month or two) should make it "smooth".
You may even find that a good wash with Reset and a spray and wipe with Elixir may be all that is needed.

Again, using Essence would not be my choice.
