My wife Screwed up and how do i to fix it

My wife has recently decided, for whatever reason, to start putting her big, bulky and heavy purse on the trunk lid. The purse filled with everything under the sun, has metal corner supports on the bottom. It has done quite a number on the lid

The UK 3.0 is only 7 months old and I have no intention of buying a bottle just to recoat the trunk lid. I know Essence will remove the coating, so that's out. Essence+ Plus has no abrasives, so that's out. What possibilities are out there just for correcting the trunk lid without having to recoat?
    Cheers,
    Don

You kind of answered your own question with Essence Plus to fill in defects. It is not a miracle product and it's filling capability is limited. This is why it is good to have an extra bottle of coating on hand. Reload also fills in pretty well.

Sadly, if it's bad, your only choice may be to correct/polish the trunk lid to remove the fine scratches.
Yes, this will remove the Cquartz UK on the trunk lid.

The good news is they make a very small bottle CQuartz UK 3.0 10ml
This should be plenty to reapply to the trunk lid.

Please inform her that the trunk lid is NOT a shelf. (sigh)

Thanks for the info on the 10ml bottle Merlin! I was not aware of that. That most likely will be my step towards correction. Now, for correcting the problem that caused the problem, that's another hard sell. She knows I work tirelessly each weekend on her car just so she can have a nice, clean looking vehicle. It rarely gets dirty cause I won't let it but her idea of maintaining it differs from mine. She thinks she can get off the hook by offering to help correct it!!!! Ain't happening. She's still my best friend though.
    Cheers,
    Don

I'm not at all confident that Essence+ would fill in these scratches. Rather than spending the bucks for the Plus, i'll get a 10ml bottle of 3.0 and recoat after correction.

You could also get Cquartz Lite. It’s pretty stout on its own.
