    SiC removal from window

How do I remove SiC from a window? I used it on a couple windows and have terrible streaking that I cannot buff off. Is there a good product to use to remove the coating?

Polish it with a medium cut polish. It does not take much to remove it.

Thank you! I ended up using some elbow grease and a clay bar - worked great!

If you have SiC (silicon carbide) on your window, you can remove it with a razor blade or a utility knife. First, ensure that the area around the SiC is clear of debris. Next, use a sharp blade to scrape away the SiC. You may need to use a little pressure to get all of the SiC off. Once you have removed the SiC, you can clean the area with a glass cleaner or alcohol wipes. In this way, I removed the SiC and installed on the rear window a sunshade from snapshades.com.au for my baby to protect him from UV rays.
