I noticed you used 4 different polishes. What was the case for this?

    Thanks for asking...
First note - Every paint is different. Do a test spot.
    In this case...

    COMPOUND:
Meguiars M101 and Megs M110 Ultra Pro Speed Compound
This M101/M110 "combo" gives me a nice cut and leaves a good finish.
I use this combo with two smaller than dime-size drops on opposite sides of the pad.
    _________

    POLISHING:
Lake Country HDO Orange pad has a medium cut
M205 removes any remaining swirls and refines the finish

Lake Country HDO Black is a finishing pad.
M210 leaves a nice, brilliant, glossy, clear finish

Ah, you're making a "special formula" of M101 and M110. I have to start trying things like that.

Tell me about your choice of M210 over something like Carpro Essence to finish pre coating?

Both M210 and Carpro Essence are good choices for final polishing.
I used M210 because it was handy and I stayed in the same Megs family.
I think Carpro Essence may finish better for shine, clarity, gloss, etc.

The most interesting this about car detailing is that there are no secrets. Everyone is willing to share every last detail of how and why they did what they did. This level of honesty doesn't exist in any other business I know. (The fictional "transparency" speech)

Although I do list the products used...every vehicle is different!
The exact same year, make, model, and color can vary from different production dates.

I feel the most important thing is the skill, knowledge, and experience of the detailer.

Sometimes it is not the great car you are working on or what you know in the industry or who you know, It is the fellowship and sharing knowledge and enjoying the moments with people.

I did a few this week that I have to share. Super high-mileage Range Rovers. Full decontamination, correction, interior, ceramic. Took 15 hours each. Killed my old body.

Also need to try that TUGA Devil wheel cleaner you have here.

I exclusively used Sonax and love it. I just ordered a gallon of the “plus” version.

I had a gallon of P&S Brake Buster and didn’t think it cleans enough. Didn’t clean tires well. It’s great for maintenance washes as it’s cheap.

Adams wheel and tire cleaner is my current go to product and my gallon is near empty. It’s also the only Adams product I use.
