I wanted to touch on the importance of proper preparation. Just like in the pain shop, a properly prepared surface yields the best results. In the photos below, I washed the car, but missed a spot that would be noticed by anyone getting in the car. I do degrease and power wash the door jambs at every maintenance wash, but I missed this location for this last wash. While an easy fix post drying, if I were to slow my process down to ensure I cleaned and decontaminated every surface, this would not have happened. It's the details that make the car pop and divide the professionals from the rest.
