Question for this group.

Big fan of CarPro products, use them exclusively at the house for maintenance. (Reset, IronX, Hydro2 Foam, Reload)

Car was coated roughly 2.5 years ago after a full respray.

New set of BC Forged wheels coated Nov 2021. Wheels are gloss black barrels/bolts and matte/satin centers.

The centers are now chalky, as if oxidized, and act as oxidized paint does (water doesn't repel, "evaporates" under air). Barrels and all else are just fine.

I mentioned this to a friend who had a new set of factory satin wheels coated then stored - no tires, never mounted, in boxes - that have done the same thing.

Has anyone else heard, had, seen this issue? I've also contacted the authorized installer to discuss as well, and it's new to him.

Have attached day of coating pics, and today's pic.

Thanks!
