Reload after CQUARTZ UK 3.0 question
Hello, I just did a ceramic coating on a brand new truck. I used Carpro CQUARTZ UK 3.0, and it seemed to go very well. I did two coats and have been able to leave it in the garage for 48 hours after the second coat. I got the kit with Reload, but am not sure whether there is any advantage to using the Reload now. From what I have read, it seems that the Reload helps protect the CQUARTZ while it cures, especially if you cannot keep it protected for the first 24-48 hours. Is there an added benefit for me since I have protected the CQUARTZ for 48 hours? Does it improve the hydrophobicity or durability? It would be easiest to add now since the car is fully clean, but would be better to use later? (6 months "reload", etc.)
Thanks.

I love shiny things
For me, I use Reload after a wash or every month or two.

Reload is a maintenance spray designed to enhance and extend the life of ceramic coatings including CQUARTZ UK 3.0. It provides an extra layer of protection and hydrophobicity to the coated surface. As a general rule, Reload is recommended to be used after the initial curing period of the ceramic coating, which is typically around 24-48 hours.
Since you have already allowed the ceramic coating to dry for 48 hours, you have allowed enough time for it to bond to the paint surface. At this point, adding Reload may still provide benefits. It can further improve hydrophobic properties, add shine, and provide an extra layer of protection against environmental contaminants.
You did everything right if you applied it after 48 hours of drying. I also use Reload after washing. Gives a very good effect.
