I got to try then out today and I absolutely agree with you.

These pads are fantastic. Next time I can get these on sale I'm going to buy two dozen of them.

I had the opportunity to use the Lake Country HD orbital pads with the Rupes 21ES and I'm very impressed.
I like the sharp outside edge shape. I was able to easily get it into some very small "difficult to reach" areas.
The orange polishing pad composition does a great job of correction even using a more aggressive polish.

If you are using a long-stroke machine like the Rupes 15ES or 21ES “Big Foot” Random Orbital Polishers...
...then these pads are an excellent choice! They maintain surface contact & have a smooth controlled feel.

Way to knock one out of the box LC!

I did with Reflect on Rupes 21es with 5" plate and it was awesome, I was able to finish very well and very fast.

Do you finish better with the smaller backing plate or is it just easier to work with?

I think both...I put a 5" backing plate on my Rupes 21 and I have never looked back.

I'm not Merlin but for me I use the 5" BP on Rupes 21 cuz I have many more 5" pads and 6" are just so big that I found myself switching back and forth so much due to the 6" being to big for many areas. I also find the 5" stalls less on the curved panels, the smaller pad AND the washer mod help with this I feel.
