    Towels and Reload?

Is it recommended to throw away towels used to remove Reload (i.e. does it ruin the towels like a ceramic coating)?

I wash towels that are used with reload with something like micro restore. Never had an issue reusing a towel or the towel hardening because of the little amount of silica in the product.

Like Guz, with RELOAD, I have never had an issue with towels hardening after an application. I do have a bucket with an APC solution and water nearby and presoak them after use. Then a normal wash with Micro Restore soap and wash.
I’ve even inadvertently let the towels sit for a day and NEVER had them harden.

Hey guys, regarding the bucket of APC. Do you dilute the APC solution with a 10:1 ratio and then dump all the towels in there before washing? Thinking of picking up some Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner.

Never had an issue with Reload hardening any of my microfibers no matter how long I waited before washing them.

IMHO although I am not a chemist, soaked in a diluted APC then washed with a mf cleaner product and your towels should be fine.

At what dilution ratio Merlin? I have plenty of Meg's APC & a bottle of ECH20.

I do this with all my towels. I have a 2 gallon bucket that I mix with APC. The precise measurement is 2.5 glugs. So glug, glug, gl.....

Seriously don’t need a ton of APC. 40:1 is a pretty good ratio for presoaking towels.
