1957 Chevrolet 210 - Paint Correction and Gloss Enhancement

Merlin

I love shiny things
So I'm gonna keep this one simple and let the pics speak for themselves.

I was not sure when I booked this car if it was base/clear or single stage.
Sadly, the car looked like it had been washed 100 times with a Brillo pad.

Process:
Wash: 2 bucket method, Incredimitt wash mitt and Iron-X Snow soap
Decon: Iron-X, Nanoskin Fine with Optimum No Rinse for a clay lube
Compound: Rupes 21ES, 5" Carpro Flash Pad & HD Adapt Compound
Polish: Rupes 21, LC 5" Hydro-Tech Red foam pads & Carpro Reflect
Small Areas: PCxp, Carpro 3 1/2" Flash, LC 4" Red CCS & Unigrit 3" BP
LSP: PERL on tires. Coli 845 on Chrome. Blackfire WD on Paint areas

Not every vehicle I do gets CQuartz Finest installed...I sure wish it did.
I wasn't sure when this one arrived if it could ever be a CQF candidate.
When I was done it was. Even though it didn't CFQ I still wanted to share.

BTW - The Vette is getting CQF (coming soon)

Thanks for looking.

That car looks familiar...Great job Merlin. I really like your driveway.

Good Lord Merlin! I am a Ford man but you are making me rethink it with pictures like that. Truly a perfectionist in action!

This 57' Chevy 210 was sweet. The 57' was always my favorite Chevy.
This had 3 on the column and the original inline 6 under the hood.
Yes, is was stock.

Thank You for your kind words. This one was a lot of fun to do.
