Yes, I use a lot of CARPRO Automotive Masking tape.
Although I may take a bit of time to mask off areas.
It sure beats any risk of damaging expensive parts.

I like the Carpro tape! It is easy to apply and remove.
It leaves no residue like the box store green or blue.

On another note...
CARPRO MetalliCut Metal Polish on exhaust tips
CQuartz Fabric on convertible top (great results)!

MetalliCut left the exhaust tips looking like new.

CQuartz Fabric on the convertible top.
Darkens a bit, is superhydrophobic, and lasts a long time.
