Got the opportunity to clean up some more bad washing habits for a new customer. He contacted me initially about detailing the Tahoe, his F150 and his 22 foot bay boat.
Started with the Tahoe this past week. Was pretty darn rough. She got a thorough wash and wheel cleaning. 20 inch chrome wheels were very rough. Lots of rust and brake dust that hadn't been washed well in some time. After iron X ing them and scrubbing with Meg's 101 decided they would need a little more help to get them back.
Processed to surface decon with the poly shave towel and ultima ww. Followed up with a nice single stage polish with HD. Oh what a difference. Not sure if this car had been waxed in two years or longer. Brought back the depth and clarity and removed majority of the washing scratches and small imperfections.
Polished the wheels up with a little mag polish and gave the interior a thorough cleaning and leather coating with Optimum for a topper.
