My sister in law contacted me to correct and coat her husbands 2013 Golf R for their anniversary. I knew he has just gotten it so I anticipated easy peasy work. Well, as you will see, nope, not so much! I did this mobile so I loaded up my Durango and headed out.
I'll give the process then here are the pics:
Wheels were Sonax FE and woolies and speed master brushes
Tires and wheel wells were 505 and zep citrus
Paint was washed with Megs Gold Class followed by Iron-X and a nano skin towel.
The job was an interior as well but that wasn't much of anything.
Test spot showed great results with menz 4000 on a white hybrid pad, I ended up moving to menz 2500 for a tad more cut, ended up much better with no haze.
Coated with Americana Americoat and baked in the sun!
Tires were coated with Black Pearl.
Upon arrival I pulled her out of the garage to this:
The clear bra covered tons of damage and was damaged as well. I was able to lightly polish the PPF to fix some of the issues.

Not so bad you say? Its just dirt? Well........

50/50 after the test spot:

After shots with coating!
