2014 Corvette C7 Gloss Enhancement and CQuartz Finest

Merlin

I love shiny things
2014 C7 convertible loaded w/lots of fine factory/dealership scratches.
When I received the vehicle it had less than 100 smiles on the ODO..

I had asked the client to tell the dealership "Do Not Wash!" upon arrival.
When I got it, the paint was totally covered in a gummy "factory" glue.
Possibly, it was protective plastic coating residue used during shipping.

I also found there appears to be absolutely no factory paint protection.
When I washed it, I found the paint completely flat and totally lifeless.

Wash: 2 bucket and Wookies fist. Decon: IronX LS, ultra fine clay bar.
Scratch removal: Rupes 21 with D300 and Megs 5" mf finishing disc.
Gloss Enhancement: Lake Country 5" Gold foam with Carpro Reflect.
Glass: Fly-By-30 Trim: Dlux trim & tires. Engine: Sonus Motor Kote
Coating Prep: Car-Pro Eraser wipe-down twice on all paint surfaces.
Coating: CarPro CQuartz Finest on the paint, wheels and calipers.

He ordered the optional contrast package with the spoiler, mirrors and hood stripe.
The hood stripe is not painted. It is a decal that is applied on top of the OEM paint.
