2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe CQuartz Install:

Washed with Meg's Hyper Wash, Incredimitt and various size Boars hair brushes for the emblems/tricky places to get a mitt. Decontaminated with a clay mitt and Meg's D155 Last Touch. Polished with HDSpeed, Meg's MF Pad (Car was swirled prior to correction, unable to get any pictures due to the car's color and lighting conditions) and a PC. Pictures tell the rest of the story:

The whole car was like this, cat hair, pollen and dust. Gross!

Pretty sure this is bird droppings and more pollen/dust

Wheel beforehand, full of brake dust + road grime

Sonax Full Effect + Meg's D143 + Boars hair brush made quick work of the grime and brake dust.

Foam Cannon'd with Chemical Guys Maxi Suds 2

Post-polish, touching up tape lines and removing any extra polish ( what helpers are good for ;) )

I opted for CQuartz Regular due to our constant 95+ degree days with 60%+ humidity (we're in Southeast Louisiana).

Night shot of post-CQuartz install. No Reload on yet, already looks amazing.

Post-CQuartz + Reload application in the sun. Chemical Guys VRP for the tire dressing.

Gotta love that reflection! CQuartz blows my mind.

Overall I had a great experience polishing + applying CQuartz. I had less trouble applying CQuartz than trying to get Reload to not streak, which is unfortunate, but no biggy. I'm so impressed by CQuartz, I can't wait to get my hands on CQuartz Finest eventually :)

Thanks for reading!

Looks great. I have one comment or question, why did you choose to use HD Speed (an AIO product) prior to doing a coating?

Looks beautiful!! What was the wipe of time with cquartz origional at those temps?

It cuts decently and polishes up nicely, plus time was an issue with this vehicle. I don't really have another product in my lineup at the moment that does that and doesn't contain a sealant or any extras. The swirls in the paint were rather superficial so I opted to not 2-step correct the paint. If you have any recommendations I'd appreciate it, I'm always on the lookout for better and better products :)

I only let it sit for a few minutes, if that. I usually coated 2 panels (like let's say the fender + door) and then came back and wiped off. It was setting in rather quickly.

I ask because you shouldn't really use an AIO when you plan on using a coating. You want a nice clean surface for the coating to adhere to. You will want to stick to straight polishes like M205 or Optimum Hyper Polish.

Very true. I wonder if Eraser would've removed any of it afterwards? I usually had to go over a panel twice or so with Eraser before coating due to the dust and just after polishing in general.

I love your work kgm and love the m205 myself. It just likes to dust on me. Is that normal. Not to intercept this post, the car with UK even with an aio shows nice.
