Work was done at The AutoSpa in Norman Oklahoma. A great client of mine and a Miata fanatic just picked up his new 2016 Mazda Miata MX5 and knew he needed to get it to me asap. Having already coated vehicles for him in the past he already knew what he wanted, CQuartz Finest. We ended up doing 3 coats of CQF on the body, CQ Fabric on the convertible top, Forte on all the glass, removed the wheels and applied 3 coats of CQF, air brushed each wheel well in CQF (I will see this vehicle regularly, Im curious of longevity in this environment, this is really just personal testing of the product). Interior door panels have a color matched painted trim that the owner was worried about so he had me coat that as well.

Overall the vehicle was in good shape. Few areas had some flaws that had some extra attention paid to them but the majority of the vehicle was defect free and only required finish polishing to make it pop. The car looks unreal and both I and the owner were amazed at the level of gloss that was added.

Overall I think Mazda hit a home run with the updated look, and you kicked it up to ELEVEN!

I can't wait to see what the Japanese-built FIAT Spider version looks like -- apparently the only shared visible element will be the windshield.
