Into the carriage house of our wonderful customer Richard. This was the first of his "collector" cars. His sweet 1967 corvette stingray. The car had been repainted with a modern process multi stage paint process. Overall the re shoot was done very nicely, but as with most when the shop wet sanded and compounded the finish..... They left a ton of undesirable marks behind. Mostly deep marring and buffer trails but a handful of sanding marks and "pig tails" were present as well.

Though the car is definitely driven, it isn't driven often and stays indoors otherwise. The car wash cleaned using ultima waterless and then gently clayed with same and Carpro decon towel.

Majority of the correction work was carried out using megs MF and classic polish though some more significant areas did require the use of flat top. Finishing was done with Carpro essence and gloss pad combo. I know that made it sound simple, but if memory serves me right, it was around 12-15 man hours to correct and finish prior to coating.

After polishing, car was wiped down with eraser and treated to a healthy coat of CQUARTZ Classic for additional gloss and protection.
