Audi Logo / Emplem fell off.

This is the mess. Because an earlier guy re-attached it with glue. What would you do if you wanted to restore to almost perfect?

It looks like there is some left over 3M adhesive. Was glue also used?

Did the earlier repair involve the use of glue, and is there remaining 3M adhesive that needs to be addressed in restoring the Audi logo/emblem?
