Hey everyone, our Challenger is unfortunately subject to air born railway iron particles due to where it's parked at my wife's work. Once I get all the iron off, what's the best way to keep it from sticking to the paint again?
I did an iron x treatment today and still need to clay the car, but ran out of time. Hoping the clay gets the rest of the iron off the paint. After that I'm going to use a DA buffer with swirl remover, then polish, finish with reflect, a glaze coat, a sealant and then wax.
Will this be enough protection against the iron sticking to the paint again? Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.
Here's iron x at work on the paint. If anyone ever doubted that it turns purple when its working on iron, here's proof.
Poor paint is a mess.
