One of my VIPs finally got rid of his Maserati QuattroporteS and got this fresh new Range Rover. Since he has a 458 Italia Spider, he didn't feel the need of having another supercar.
I have seen and done over the years a lot of paint corrections so anything that I get I am not surprised but this car was new and it was different. We will get to it later so stay tuned and enjoy it.
Picking up the car to bring to my shop.

Car condition upon arrival.
Some nasty water spots

More dirt upon dirt

Pillars before (this part of the car would hunt me later)

Washing stages and decon begins......

This combo would be the combo that would attack the paint to a flawless finish.

Also Cquartz Finest (2 Coats)
Pads
FlashPads
LC CSS White Pads
Flex3401 for the correction process
Please be advised, this thread has tons and tons of pictures. I highly suggest getting some popcorn and a nice Cold Coke or Beer.
Paint Condition before (IronX+Nanoskin Towels used to decon and smooth it out the paint)

Remember about the pillars?!? Worse condition I have eve seen on a brand new car.

50/50 after compounding only.

Far away

Up close

50/50 on the doors after compounding only

Taillights before

After

50/50 of the side of the car after compounding only

More before pictures

After all the compounding was performed, it was time for the polishing stages to refine the paint.
How important is the polishing.
Left side was after heavy compounding/Right side after polishing.

Huge improvements as it can be seen.
Now all the pictures was after polishing and refinement of the paint.
After

Pillars before/after polishing (don't mind the dust, that would be taken care of at the end)

Taillight Before/After 2 steps

Before/After 2 steps

After polishing

After all the polishing was done.
Nothing but amazing gloss and reflections.

AutoGeek supporter of course.

Look at the flakes.

After 2 long days of polishing and refining the paint it was time for Cquartz Finest

After 2 coats the car was pulled outside to get the little bit of the hot sun left to speed up the process. I then pulled the car back into my shop and left curing again under IR curing lamps.
I usually pull the car outside not just to cure fast but to inspect for high spots.
Car left over night curing for its photoshoot in the morning.
After 3 long days, it was time to unveil the beast. A vehicles this beautiful should always look its best.

To be continued..
