Can I apply another coat of UK without removing the first layer?

So I applied CQ Uk, 2 weeks ago. So far so good! Found a non oil, no shine additives or wax soap. And have reload on hand for all future washes. If I upkeep my current coating and don’t have any scratches or anything wrong with my current coating. Could I apply 1-2 more layers of UK say next winter to revive it 100%? Without having to remove the original layer?

Seen plenty of reapplication threads but none about applying additional coats later (10-18 months after original coat) on after 1-2 coats are fully cured. Anybody done this? TIA!

You will have to see how contaminated the paint is after that time. For sure a chemical decontamination would be a good idea. But I would recommend doing that at least once or twice in a year especially if the vehicle sits outside and see's harsh conditions. In theory this will remove all the Reload from the surface to get you back to the bare coating. You want to get the best bond to the previous coated surface.

You also have the option to go with Gliss and use that as a new layer. Or even Essence+ if you need to "repair" the coating.

Man you’re the quickest most helpful guy on here! Lol thanks bro! I was just wondering what my options were. My car is currently outside. But will have it garages again soon! So time should tell I guess and I’d like to just do a chemical decontamination, wipe down with an IPA as well and reapply another coat to my existing coating (if my original coating is in good condition of course) I just like the idea of doing a good chemical strip down to the bare original coating. Then applying another coat & start like that yearly. Than go 2 years and have to completely strip and re apply. Idk I’m just OCD like that.
