If you apply Dr. Colorchip prior to polishing, there is a very good chance polishing over it will pull the paint from the repaired areas. Typically I do this:
1. Polish the affected area first.
2. Carefully do any necessary paint touch-ups.
3. Finish polishing the rest of the vehicle.
4. If "need be" I do any needed polishing touch-ups in the area where I did chip repair. (If I did a good job and was careful while doing the repairs, there is no need for this step). If the need does exist, I going very lightly and be VERY careful not to pull the paint from the repairs.
5.You can coat the next day. (I like to wait a bit longer if possible, but I've done the next day without issue).
