Hello,
I've been in de detailing world since years, but just started discovering the carpro products.
Next tuesday, I'll be giving my own car a summer prep. It's white metallic.
Paint is in very good condition, just a lot of iron and tar particles. Always a pain on white paint...
The black pillars alse swirled, always delicate.
Plan is to do the normal washing, apc around crevices, de-iron, de-tar, clay, polish and coat.
I bought the essence recently. Was thinking af giving a first round on yellow rupes, followed by a second appilcation on carpro white gloss pad.
Car got Nanolex Si3D coating 2 years ago so I'm hoping the yellow rupes will remove this. (plus all maintenance product used).
Just started thinking: is it usefull to do the second round on the white gloss pad? Wouldn't this remove the first "primer" layer of essence?
Will this add gloss or protection before coating?
I read to wait 3 hours before coating after essence, correct?
I would also skip the ipa wipedown. However after claying I would wash the car with a degreaser so that the essence gets an oilfree surface.
All remarks are welcome!
Thank you.
