Hey guys,
I decided to detail my daily driver, a silver 2006 Lexus. It's been driven for almost 200k miles. The paint been neglected and has all kinds of deep swirl marks, water etching and rock chips everywhere. This is my process:
1- Wash with Meg Deep Crystal
2- Clay
3- Polish / minor correction with Ice Speed Compound (3 passes on each panel)
4- Hose down the car to get rid of compound
5- Dry car with leaf blower and complete IPA wipe down
6- Apply CarPro Reload
These are the pictures after Carpro Reload has been applied.
Right after CarPro has been applied the car was still silver, first picture. Then after 10 mins, silver starts to fade into a light blue, second picture. 30 mins later, it's turning almost completely blue, last picture.
If you make this far, I hope you already realize that I was just kidding. CarPro Reload is an excellent product. I am very happy with its shine, ease of use and protection.
I with I had a sample of CarPro Essense to test it out.
Cheers
PS: I'll be more than happy to further explain my process if any one has any comments or questions.
